Development at The Falls!

After years of litigation and negotiation, it looks like there will be a modest-sized Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) behind (east of) The Falls apartment building (at Northern Parkway and Falls Road). ESL Roland Park has signed agreements and covenants with NRPIA, as well as other neighborhood associations (Poplar Hill, Lehr Stream and Sabina Mattfeldt) and with several North Roland Park neighbors, to build and operate a SNF at this location. The covenants limit the access, size and operation of the SNF. We’ve heard about other possible developments of this property for years and the planned SNF appears to be a “best use” compromise for a property that was destined for some kind of development.
